The chuck key with a T-handle allows for the chuck to be easily clamped and spread with one hand, leaving the other hand free for the workpiece. The base jaws are secured against excessive unscrewing.
The chuck and the matching jaws are nickel-plated, offering excellent protection against moisture and corrosion. Stainless steel screws also prevent the screws from seizing due to rust.
The thread 1-1/4” X8TPI is integrated into the chuck body, making the chuck lighter and shorter while providing higher concentric accuracy. Comes with a thread adaptor for 1” X8TPI lathe.
