Applications include dewatering, effluent waste, wastewater, and sewage handling where such materials must be moved upward from a collection point to sewer, septic, or drainage areas. This pump comes with a piggyback mechanical float switch which activates the pump when the liquid level reaches 16 to 19 inches and shuts off the pump when the liquid level falls between 9 and 11 inches. For pump maintenance, the switch can be easily by-passed by unplugging the pump from the switch and plugging the pump directly into the outlet.
